A STUDY ABOUT THE INFLUENCE OF CUTTING DEPTH AND WIDTH FEED TO SURFACE ROUGHNESS WHEN FLAT GRINDING Dinh Trung Trong1*, Nguyen Tuan Nhan1, Nguyen Thi Hong Yen1 1Hue Industrial College *Email: [email protected] Abstract: Flat grinding is a method for finishing process of flat surfaces, to ensure the quality of the workpiece, especially the quality of the surface layer. In particular, residual stress and hardened surface processed by heat or chemical-physicals; surface roughness is also ensured by the selection of the machining parameters. This paper presents a study about influency of two important parameters is cutting depth and width feed to surface roughness of workpiece C40 when machining by Arca grinder (Japan) and grindstone Sx80TB2G. Using rotation planning level II Box-Hunter to experimental design and data processing.Thereby, analyze, evaluate the influence and provide the basis for the selection of the value of cutting depth and width feed consistent with the requirements of surface roughness of each technology step in the flat grinding. Keywords: flat grinder; grindstone; surface roughness; experimental planning; Box-Hunter. |
